New Brand Ambassador for The House of Angostura

By this time next week, your presents would have been opened and some already enjoyed, but the spirit of the season remains strong . We are only just getting started, we have some special treats and surprise gifts for you all so stay tuned for our next issue , it will be filled with a bit of laughter from( Guess who) and some special information for some of your upcoming Carnival events.
This week we feature the monumental signing of Chutney star, Imran “GI” Beharry as the official Brand Ambassador for Angostura Holdings Limited.
Beharry is a three-time Chutney Soca Monarch winner, who was recently-appointed as an NCC Commissioner and has spent over two decades working in and contributing to the music industry. Now signed as the official Brand Ambassador for The House of Angostura’s extensive range of products, GI is determined to make the most of this opportunity, while representing the iconic global brand.
Commenting on the partnership, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Angostura Holdings Limited, Ian Forbes stated:

The collaboration forms part of Angostura’s broader strategy to engage cultural leaders who authentically embody the spirit of the brand while helping to bring premium rum culture to life in relevant and contemporary ways. Through this partnership, GI will play a key role in elevating brand experiences and celebrating moments where music, culture, and premium spirits intersect.
GI also shared his enthusiasm for the partnership, noting:

GI followed up the grand signing with an extensive media tour to release two songs, his 2026 Chutney Soca contribution entitled, “My One Only” aka “Firewater” and a high energy, Kompa/Soca song simply called “Bonjour”.
Over the years, GI has carved out a distinctive space within the local and regional entertainment landscape. His music, performances and persona reflect confidence, craftsmanship, and originality, these values align seamlessly with The House of Angostura® and its portfolio of premium brands, said a release from the company.
