Q: What does performing at the 20th edition of JAOTG mean to you and to your brand ?

A: 20 years is no easy feat for any organization, and being a staple in the regional jazz scene is something worth celebrating. To be part of this momentous occasion fills me with pride, and I can confidently say I’ve been a part of this incredible journey.

Q: What extra special elements have you designed or do you intend to employ while onstage on this momentous occasion?

A: I love blending different genres with jazz’s smooth, rich tones, and this year is no exception. Get ready to hear some of your favorite songs reimagined in a jazz-calypso style.

Q: What does Jazz mean to you personally and professional

A: Jazz music has always been therapeutic for me. From its unique chord progressions to the intricate harmonies, it never fails to captivate me. My all-time favorite, though, has to be vocal improvisation. The freedom to scat through different notes and keys effortlessly makes my love for jazz even more enjoyable.

Q: If you were not performing at JAOTG this year. Where would you be on April 5th?

A: If I weren’t performing this year, I’d probably be back at my second home in London, enjoying the spring vibes.

Q: What have you done for 2025 thus far and what comes next after JAOTG for you?

A: To be totally honest, I’ve been on a bit of a hiatus to focus on my career back in the UK. JAOTG is actually my first event of the year. I’ve already started networking with agencies that collaborate with leading artists in the industry. So as the year progresses I’ll be back on the music scene doing what I’m most passionate about…
