What does it really mean to “runaway”? To just stop the world for a lil bit and take that mental day we know we deserve? Well, plenty of Kairi People faithfuls did just that — hopping on the shuttles, linking up in carpools, and making their way to South Ranch, Debe, for what honestly felt like a much-needed runaway escape. And with talk of alcohol price hikes and Carnival peeping ’round the corner, everybody had plenty to say.
But as always — Kairi People didn’t miss. True to their brand and loyal to their supporters, they delivered on their promise of always giving value for your money. From as early as 11 a.m., the place started to fill up with fashion, flair, vibes, and fine dining. Pasta steaming, creole flavours drifting, Chinese dishes smelling sweet, and of course that crowd-favourite bake and shark — all backed by premium drinks flowing steady.

The venue was reshaped so everyone could see the stage clearly, and even though the sun was blazing down, D’ All Starz Band — led by College Boy Jesse — turned up the heat even more. When he introduced their new frontline artiste, Anika Berry, who stepped out bold and confident, the crowd answered her with loud cheers of approval.
The entertainment kept rolling with heavy soca hitters: Patrice Roberts and the A-Team, Ding Dong, Sekon Sta, Mical Teja, Freetown Collective, Blaka Dan, Sackie — and as the sun set, rising star Akhenaton “Yung Bredda” Lewis took command of the stage with energy, precision, and perfect measurements, followed by Aaron “Voice” St. Louis.
The Kairi People team reminded patrons that no matter the increase in beverages that fuel their events or the challenges ahead, they remain committed to their mantra: “value for your dollar.” As they gear up to serve the country once more heading into Carnival 2026, they also extend an invitation to experience their newest venture — bEATs on Tragarete, a restaurant and bar where food, vibes, and entertainment meet effortlessly.
Next up on the Kairi calendar: Kairi People Different, and of course — Breakfast Is… Stay tuned, stay ready.
