One of the premier all-inclusive held for Tobago Carnival weekend, at the magnificent Magdalena Grand Beach and Golf Resort, Tobago was Nirvana- Escape to Paradise.

A project of the Blawssum Can Foundation, and held for a good cause as proceeds from the event are used to raise funds to support events for the community of Darrel Spring/Whim in Tobago.

An all inclusive with a difference featuring top notch entertainment and food that had your mouth watering as you smelled the aroma upon entering the venue as the cool ocean breeze danced across the sea and cooled the venue.

Women dressed as though it could have been a fashion runway show in Paris. As DJ Echo and Starbright   expertly warmed up the crowd with and had them dancing the conga line and electric slide this Dj Crew needs to be a staple they read the crowd very well. Soca Stars Ding Dong, Earphaan Alves, Wadicks and Road March king Mical Teja had the crowd eating out their hands.

As Kes entered the stage he immediately tapped into the 220V energy that was emanating from the packed crowd , which showed significant growth of the event from last year.  Kes had them eating out of his hands as he delivered a barrage of his hits including his 2011 groovy Soca Monarch hit “wotless”. The energy of his performance had the fans literally climbing the fence as he rocked them toll the end.

The Soca truly proved to be the therapy as the minor hiccups, which patrons faced, faded into a memory. Promoter of the event apologized to patrons that faced any challenges, but wish to extend their appreciation and thanks to all who attended and promised that they are focused on fixing the issues patrons faced and making next year’s event bigger and better.
