Kevon Charles is one of the creative forces behind RC Mas Designs, but this creative has been sketching out his passion since his school days. However, it wasn’t until 2020 that he turned his hobby into a career and started designing costumes for Carnival bands. With a deep interest in Trinidad’s culture, Kevon’s designs have impressed audiences, including his standout performance with RC Mas and a surprise individual costume design for Sugar Mas in St Kitts.
Kevon’s design process is meticulous, involving research and a keen eye for detail. He credits his collaborator/mas mentor Caroline Mc Intosh for helping bring his visions to life. Looking ahead, Kevon dreams of designing for global pageant delegates, pouring his heart into every stitch and sequin. With RC Mas Designs, he’s proving that mas is not just a party—it’s an art form.
