Local T&T designer Lisa Sarjeant-Gonzales was recently featured in Essence. com’s compilation of the 25 Black Women-owned brands You should Know feature, in celebration of women’s history month.

The article featured a piece from the St James based designer’s Lisa Faye Hand Dyed Silk Clothing and the headline “The cutest casuals.”

“Wow!! This totally blew my mind!”, Sarjeant-Gonzales posted to her Facebook page, upon seeing the Essence feature, which included a link to her Instagram page.
“To be featured here just made my whole year. I am truly grateful. Thank you Essence. Thank you Kerane Marcellus.”
