LUX Carnival Unveils “7 Wonders of the Caribbean” — The Caribbean’s Best-Kept Secret Set to Dazzle at Toronto Caribbean Carnival 2025
Toronto, ON — Toronto’s streets are about to erupt in color, rhythm, and island pride as LUX Carnival unveils their spectacular new presentation: “7 Wonders of the Caribbean – ISLAND GEMS” for Toronto Caribbean Carnival 2025. Already one of the most buzzed-about bands of the season, LUX continues its unstoppable rise with this nature-inspired, culture-rich concept that’s set to dominate the Lakeshore.
Celebrating the hidden marvels of the Caribbean through jaw-dropping costumes and captivating storytelling, each section brings one iconic natural wonder to life:
Sulphur Springs (Saint Lucia) – An eruption of fire, mystery, and volcanic glam.
La Riviere (Grenada) – River goddess vibes flow through vibrant blues and cascading fabrics.
Luminous Lagoon (Jamaica) – A bioluminescent fantasy sparkling with neon brilliance.
La Brea Pitch Lake (Trinidad & Tobago) – Deep, molten hues channel the enigmatic natural asphalt lake.
Kaieteur Falls (Guyana) – Towering power meets regal elegance in tribute to this legendary waterfall.
The Pitons (Saint Lucia) – Bold peaks rise in majestic greens and golds.
Island Gems Grand Finale – Barbados, St. Vincent, and more shine in unity, sparkle, and island royalty.
In a major milestone, LUX Carnival was recently awarded the prestigious 2025 Canadian Choice Award for Entertainment Services, solidifying its place as a leader in Canada’s cultural and event landscape. This honor recognizes the band’s exceptional creativity, professionalism, and growing impact across the Carnival arts scene.
As excitement builds, fans and mas lovers can view exclusive images from the LUX Carnival Band Launch, where feathers flew, beats dropped, and costumes dazzled. This year also welcomes a new ambassador to the forefront of the movement: Trinidad and Tobago native and digital creator Sabrina popularly known by (@supremebrina) has officially been named the face of LUX Carnival 2025. A vibrant voice in the Caribbean community and online world, Sabrina brings authenticity, influence, and fierce island energy to the LUX brand.
“Sabrina embodies what LUX is all about — Caribbean pride, unstoppable creativity, and fearless beauty,” says Sharon Niles, Founder & CEO of LUX Carnival, and a recently celebrated community leader recognized by the Niagara African Caribbean Culture Organization (NACCO) for her passionate commitment to cultural excellence.
