US-based Soca artist Devon “Lyrikal” Martin is back in Trinidad after high-energy performances at Jamaica Carnival, ahead of his upcoming “Happy Place” event on July 13 at Brooklyn’s Restoration Plaza.

“Good to be back on the island,” he said with a grin. “I hear there are some new codes and appointments, so I came to offer my services—and the Worl Boss is here too, so the Happy Place Boss had to show up.”

Martin, who was named Campari’s Caribbean ambassador in February, will perform tonight at the launch of the Campari Red Passion campaign at The Bungalow in St. Clair.

The campaign encourages creativity and self-expression through bold cocktail choices. “It’s about making every moment your own,” said Campari Marketing Manager Theresa Higgins-Edwards. AMCO’s Nichelle Grey-Smith added, “There’s no wrong way to enjoy Campari—whether it’s with pineapple, grapefruit soda, or the classic Campari Orange.”

To help new drinkers get started, Campari recommends a few signature mixes: Campari Orange, Campari Pineapple, or Campari & Grapefruit Soda.
