Surevibe will be presenting the third instalment of one of its signature events, #DUCKIT
on Friday 25 th October 2024 at the Cinro Manor Villa and Spa in Lowlands, Tobago,
from 2:00pm to 10:00pm.
Surevibe is an event promotion and execution entity, currently based in Tobago. In
keeping with its name, the entity’s focus is on curating events that offer constant
enjoyment to all patrons and guests. Their events target fun loving young and middle-
aged groups.
Over the past three years, Surevibe has executed a number of well attended Pop-up
limes, their inaugural beach party entitled Beach’d, and the well anticipated event for
October Carnival, #DUCKIT. Over the past two years they also managed and
presented private mas band sections during the October Carnival.

freedom. As suggested in Bunji Garlin’s song ‘Straight off the Jumbo Jet’, #DUCKIT
encourages patrons ‘duck’ everything and come fete as they land on the island

visitors before they hit the road for J’Ouvert and the Parade of the Bands over the
weekend.
Music is the major element used to achieve this, as the event is a true ‘carnival fete’,
playing only soca and calypso music. The choice of music influences the market that
attends the event, with most patrons being Gen X and Millennials, with soca-loving Gen
Zs also partaking in the excitement. #DUCKIT is also attractive to domestic and
international tourists, including the diaspora, as it retains the aura of a traditional
carnival fete which many yearn for.
In 2022 for Tobago’s inaugural October Carnival, #DUCKIT attracted over 300 patrons.
In 2023 at its new location Cinro Manor Villa and Spa, #DUCKIT was enhanced into a
pool party and attracted almost 500 patrons. This year the event returns to Cinro Manor
Villa and Spa.
Tickets to #DUCKIT are available on islandetickets.com. Interested persons can also
