At just 20 years old, Dallas De Gourville is already raising the bar—literally. The founder of VYCE Cocktails, a new ready-to-drink tequila-based brand, is on a mission to serve up smooth, tropical party flavours that mirror the vibrant energy of Trinidad and Tobago.
Launched in February 2025, VYCE is the culmination of over a year of behind-the-scenes planning and flavour experimentation. Its debut product—an orange-cherry tequila cocktail in a sleek 750ml bottle—has quickly become a favourite on the event scene. “As a Trinidadian, the love for partying is in my DNA,” Dallas shares. “But I never enjoyed the harsh taste of most spirits. So I challenged myself to create a cocktail that goes down smooth but still packs a punch.”
With a natural knack for vision and flavour, Dallas knew the product had potential—but bringing VYCE to life required teamwork. He enlisted Shumay Soo Chan, whose background in operations and marketing helped structure the business, and Jonathan Andre, a creative force behind the brand’s identity, label design, and social media content. “VYCE wouldn’t be where it is today without their energy and input,” Dallas adds.

Since their soft launch, the team has taken VYCE on the road—literally—partnering with Paparazzi Carnival and Secret J’ouvert to distribute free shots during mas band collection and on the road. The feedback helped them perfect their formula. From there, VYCE has popped up at raft-ups, club parties, and youth markets, quickly becoming known not just for flavour, but also for their unforgettable brand experience.
The VYCE team is already teasing new expansions, including a line of alcoholic popsicles was a bold hit at the recent Hott 93 in partnership with Island Crasher’s at their Youth Vendor Market. While the signature orange-cherry flavour sets the tone, more tropical infusions are on the horizon. “We wanted our first flavour to reflect our essence. It’s bold, fun, and unmistakably us.”

In the short term, VYCE aims to hit local shelves, while long-term goals include expansion across the Caribbean and eventual international exports. “We’re not just a cocktail brand,” Dallas insists. “We’re a lifestyle rooted in culture, authenticity, and enjoyment.”
