As we prepare for a short but sweet Carnival season, one where Trinidad and Tobago is once again set to host the greatest show on earth, the energy is already building. With such a compressed season, the National Carnival Commission ( NCC) has released its calendar, packed with fetes and Carnival related events. While familiar favourites return, there are also fresh, exciting experiences making their mark.
At the centre of it all is Arvinder Rampersad, popularly known as Winerboy, and his brand Winerboy Entertainment, who has unveiled “The Perfect 6.” So, what exactly is the Perfect 6? Simply put, it’s a carefully curated mix of experiences designed to keep the season exciting. As Winerboy explains, the mission is to “provide a variety of fetes and give good value. Each event is different to keep customer engagement exciting,” while always aiming to “exceed the patrons’ expectations to create that happy atmosphere for them to enjoy our great Carnival.”
Kicking things off is Brunchin, first out the gates but now with a smart twist. The event moves from Sunday to Saturday after parents shared that they wanted to attend but still needed time to get their kids ready for school on Monday. The time change also came with comfort in mind, as “no amount of porta cools and cloth shade was cooling down the place,” prompting the shift to create a cooler, more enjoyable atmosphere where patrons can truly ease into the season together.

Next up is the return of NOIR, back after a successful debut last Carnival, but bigger. NOIR Weekend takes centre stage, with the addition of NOIR Splash, a drinks-inclusive poolside experience at the Radisson Hotel. Think sleek, stylish, all-black energy with a splash of indulgence. NOIR evolves from a fete into a full lifestyle moment.

The momentum continues the very next weekend with a brand-new event, NEON, aimed squarely at the youth and the young-at-heart. With Carnival missing that classic night-time cooler fete vibe, NEON is designed to bring it back. As Winerboy puts it, “Years ago night-time cooler fetes was the main type of event in Carnival, but as of recently that is lacking in the season.” Add the rude boy king, YUNG BREDDA, with a neon dress code, glowing colours, and “free rude boy flowing all night long,” NEON promises high energy, full coolers, and pure late-night Carnival freedom.

But when it comes to the ladies, Caribe Rosé is where the magic truly happens.
Rosé remains the signature ladies’ fete in the east and continues to hold a special place for Winerboy. Wrapped in shades of pink, diamonds, confidence, and elegance, Caribe Rosé is all about celebrating femininity, friendship, and feeling good. With Kes the Band set to his carnival friends, patrons can expect an atmosphere that is soft pink and yet powerful where women show up dressed to impress in their pink and glitter sequins, glasses raised, and vibes flowing effortlessly. After an incredible 2025 where Rosé sold out a full month in advance, expectations are sky-high for 2026 and back at the same venue, Cipriani College of Labour. Still, Winerboy remains focused, noting that “every year I try to raise the bar,” and within budget, continues to push to exceed expectations and create that joyful, feel-good Carnival space patrons now associate with Rosé.
Central is also firmly on the map with the return of Kutchela, coming back with a bang at its location for what is known as a premium Carnival experience bringing together quality, vibes, and that unmistakable mid-season energy.
Despite rising costs across the board, including alcohol, Winerboy remains unfazed. “It didn’t affect significantly,” he says, adding that “the only constant is change, so you have to move with the change and adapt or get left behind.”
With a strong youthful lean, variety, and a clear focus on atmosphere and experience, Winerboy Entertainment’s ‘Perfect 6’ is setting the tone for Carnival 2026; proof that even in a short season, the vibes can still be long-lasting.
