Our cosmetology and Fashion Bestie, Nicky from @exclusiveclaws has the latest tips, advice and info on What To Wear, How To Style It and What’s Trending in the fetes for Carnival 2025!

It’s Carnival, so the strings and things are definitely out and as usual, blood colors and mesh make the guys eyes pop! Something she found interesting is that everyone is dressing to the theme of the party. In the past, all-white parties would not be all white and there would always be people who chose to wear different colors, but now everyone is in the correct colors but:

1. They are mixing prints and metallic textures that include the theme (animal prints, floral & gold/silver) and

2. They are mixing shades of the color and giving us cool, monochromatic looks as well.

Comfy footwear is in cause nobody wants aching, bruised up feet before Ash Wednesday, so get your own favorite style of flats and sandals and it seems like the days of wearing sky high stilettos to Carnival parties are over.

One major addition given the climate changes apparent has been everyone’s new favorite accessory: the hand fan and then of course, there’s also the tiny 1-strap purse/bag to hold the fan, ID, lip gloss and your vex money.

Stay vigilant, enjoy yourself and remember that Carnival is only once a year, so make every moment count!
