Tragarete Road just got welcomed its neewest spot to relax and enjoy with the arrival of bEATs on Tragarete — the latest restaurant and bar turning up the vibes in Woodbrook. The brainchild of Kairi People founder Richard Gordon and legendary musician Carlysle “Juiceman” Roberts, in partnership with the iconic D All Starz band, this vibrant spot blends the best of Trinbago’s food, music, and lime culture into one irresistible experience.

Located at 159 Tragarete Road, the venue was designed to capture the pulse of Port of Spain’s nightlife while serving up top-quality meals and cocktails that keep the energy flowing.

You may wonder where the name came from. According to Juiceman, inspiration struck during a casual chat. “I was talking to a friend and asked her to suggest a name,” he recalled. “She didn’t even hesitate she just said, ‘Beats on Tragarete.’ And right away, I knew that was it.”

Look out for performances by College Boy Jesse, as he welcomes Patrons.

According to Gordon, lunch service runs daily from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering a compact but carefully curated menu. “We didn’t go extensive with quantity,” he explained, “but it’s extensive in terms of QUALITY and the choices.” Guests can expect mouthwatering, food-truck-style favorites, burgers, wings, and fries all freshly prepared in-house by their resident chef.

As the sun sets, bEATs on Tragarete transforms into an evening hotspot — serving up finger foods, good drinks, and live entertainment that channels the essence of the Trinbago lime.

At the bar, the options flow as freely as the music. “We have all the beers, all the rums, Scotch, whiskey, and your tracers everything you’d expect,” Gordon said. And while costs across the industry continue to climb, he emphasized that the team remains committed to keeping prices fair: “It’s a place where your dollar will stretch longer,” he promised a welcome relief in today’s economy.

More than just a restaurant, bEATs on Tragarete is poised to become the new heartbeat of the city a space where good food, great vibes, and live music collide. With its official launch featuring top local artistes such as frontline vocalist of D’All starz, College boy jesse and others, the venue promises to live up to its name: beats, vibes, and good times.

And of you’re wondering exactly where, its at the corner and spot ( formerly Big Rolph Food truck was located).
