Mical Teja took the title for his outstanding performance with the song “DNA.” Teja’s captivating composition resonated across Trinidad and Tobago, receiving an impressive total of 341 plays.

Bunji Garlin’s late but tremendously popular “Contract” was seen by soca lovers as running head to head with DNA for the win. Patrice Roberts’ “Anxiety” was also favoured. In the end they took 2nd and 3rd places respectively.

Throughout the competition, seven judging points were established, reflecting the widespread engagement and enthusiasm for soca and calypso music across the nation.

Mical Teja has definitively earned the prestigious title of Road Monarch 2024, along with the grand prize of $250,000.00.

Each contender showcased exceptional talent and spirit, enriching our cultural tapestry with their performances.
