Our Cover feature D’Pan Posse’s

As the Xvibe team of Jermaine Cruickshank and Overtime Media, continue into the Carnival season featuring different aspects of our culture and the elements that surrounds it, this week we’re looking at the now officially proclaimed National Instrument as today is Panorama Semis. Need we say more? The only percussive musical instrument invented in the twentieth century stands tall inside the Queen’s Park Savannah today, as the national fan base assembles in queues and crews, sponsored, branded and organized with tables, chairs, coolers and assorted food items.

From 1pm until the last band leaves the big stage, all ears and eyes will be focused solely on the 29 bands competing in the medium and large band categories.
