Singer-songwriter and guitarist Rae proved her reputation as a talented and original emergent voice at the October edition of Songshine.

The show took place amid precarious weather conditions, but a decent – and vociferous -crowd came out to the show.
With versatile vocals – edgy or delicate — headliner Rae delivered her compositions in a memorable performance.
Award-winning theatre veteran Mervyn de Goeas read from his new, serialised novel “The Faraway Tree – a Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups”, recently ranked #323 out of 10.7K listed on the Wattpad app, the world’s most-popular social storytelling platform.
He will return with the continuing story at the next show.
Songshine returns on Thursday, November 3rd, featuring Guyanese singer-songwriter and flautist Ruth Osman, described by Caribbean Beat Magazine as a ‘poet disguised as a songbird’.
