Hookie Weekend, the Caribbean music and cultural festival will feature a line-up of soca music royalty for its highly anticipated 2023 edition.
The five-day, six-event extravaganza, known for its vibrant atmosphere and electrifying performances, will take place from June 15 to 19 at venues across the Washington DC metropolitan area.
The action for Hookie Weekend begins on Thursday June 15 with the kick-off party “Release Therapy” which takes place at the famous Karma DC and features Soca Prince Erphaan Alves. The weekend’s signature event “Hookie DC” will be held on Friday June 16 at the Rosecroft Raceway.
The premium Caribbean pool party concept is this year headlined by Bunji Garlin (Ian Alvarez). Joining the Viking at Hookie DC are three time International Soca Monarch, Voice (Aaron St Louis) and the man synonymous with the 2023 event theme, Lyrikal (Devon Martin).
The HookieLife Entertainment event, themed “Hookie DC Cloud 9”. will also feature a diverse line-up of talented DJs, hype men, vendors & artisans, as well as creatively themed Jouvert and mas events,
