Six lucky dancehall fans from Trinidad & Tobago and Barbados were recently whisked away on an all-expenses-paid trip to Jamaica, courtesy of Magnum Tonic Wine, for the 2025 staging of Reggae Sumfest – dubbed “The Ultimate Dancehall Experience.” The winners, selected through Magnum’s regional contest, were treated to VIP access at Jamaica’s premier music festival, complete with luxury accommodations, authentic cuisine, and nonstop entertainment.

Touching down at Montego Bay’s Sangster International Airport on July 18, the group was greeted with signature Jamaican hospitality before being transported to Secrets Wild Orchid resort. Their stay included private ground transport, concierge service, and exclusive Magnum-hosted dinners showcasing Jamaican classics like spicy jerk chicken, fresh seafood, and tropical fruits.

Festival Nights 1 and 2 delivered powerhouse performances from Masicka, Skeng, Tommy Lee, Protoje, Tarrus Riley, and more including the highly anticipated return of Vybz Kartel, officially crowned King of Dancehall. International star Toni Braxton also stunned the crowd with her debut Sumfest appearance.

Trinidadian winner Renay Bobb-Williams summed it up best: “It was absolutely exhilarating the music, the energy, everything. It was exciting, intense, and unforgettable!”

Chevanne Lawrence, Channel and Customer Marketing Manager at J. Wray & Nephew, emphasized that the campaign was about more than a concert. “It’s about strengthening the connection with our consumers and celebrating the culture. This was truly historic for our winners and our regional team.”

Magnum’s next stop? The “Xplosion – Summerstage” concert in Port of Spain, Trinidad this August at the Queen’s Park Savannah.
