Nothing beats a mimosa in the morning coupled with a great environment and people—especially with such a collaboration between some of the leading promoters in the business currently. On Sunday, July 5, local event titans Core, Siete Events, Team Xcite, and Beach House are pooling their collective influence to host Morning Mimosas at the Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business. Billed as the Caribbean’s largest-ever mimosa breakfast festival, the ambitious venture is a calculated gamble on a simple premise: summer doesn’t start at midnight anymore—it starts at sunrise.

The venue will transform into a massive open-air brunch pasture featuring a fully inclusive culinary spread engineered by Chef Akim alongside a massive beverage program centered around bottomless glasses and custom, handcrafted fruit infusions. Adding to the visual feast, the fashionable crowd is expected to turn heads, with the ladies stepping out in breathtaking, sun-kissed resort wear, vibrant sundresses, and jaw-dropping summer-chic ensembles guaranteed to keep the men watching. The biggest question mark for any daylight lifestyle event in Trinidad is whether the crowd can transition smoothly from early-morning sipping to high-energy dancing. To ensure the vibe hits the right note, the organizers have locked in a heavy-hitting DJ roster including Gleeson, Selector Myles, Selectah Kern, Kevon X & Smokey, Selector Kwasi, and the duo Patrick & Nuphoric.

The musical trajectory is designed to evolve dynamically, starting with laid-back, lounge-heavy brunch grooves as the sun comes up before steadily escalating into the high-octane rhythms required to officially launch the summer season. For a public traditionally used to partying under the cover of darkness, Morning Mimosas represents a high-stakes experiment in daytime lifestyle branding—and a clear sign that Trinidad’s entertainment calendar is rapidly evolving. A limited few tickets are still available for those looking to secure a last-minute spot at the season’s most anticipated sunrise celebration.
