Born from lived experience and a deep sense of responsibility, Nella Love’s Mothers’ Monday Wear is redefining what inclusivity looks like on the road. The designer says the inspiration was simple but powerful: mothers are often forgotten when it comes to Carnival Monday wear. While the looks are beautiful, they’re usually skimpy and that doesn’t always serve women who’ve carried life. Stretch marks, soft bellies, post-pregnancy fupas, she insists, are real and nothing to hide. Now a mother herself, she felt compelled to create pieces that allow women to feel sexy, confident and powerful without feeling exposed or uncomfortable. The collection, she says, is a love letter to mothers who still want to wine, shine and fully enjoy Carnival while feeling supported and truly seen.

The colour story is just as intentional. The bold pink is the signature Nella Love brand shade feminine, confident and unapologetic paired with black, a colour she describes simply as “that girl.” Black slims, elevates and delivers effortless sexy and fierce energy. Together, the pink and black strike the perfect balance between softness and strength, sweet but dangerous, mirroring the very women the line celebrates.

What truly sets Nella Love Monday Wear apart, however, is its realism. Designed with mothers in mind, the pieces are affordable, comfortable, functional and reusable, without sacrificing quality. Priced at $500 TTD each, they’re easy to wear, easy to wash, and blissfully uncomplicated no confusing straps, no stress, and yes, bathroom-friendly. “It’s Carnival without the chaos,” she says, adding that mothers deserve easy. And this is only the beginning. With inclusivity firmly at its core, more styles are already on the horizon, inspired by years of designing for herself alongside her aunt, a seamstress who helps bring her visions to life. Once you see an idea become real, she admits, it’s addictive.
