Nicki Minaj joins Machel Montano X Destra to “Shake The Place” in New Soca Remix

Trinidadian rap superstar Nicki Minaj is back in the spotlight with a hot new Soca remix with fellow Trinidadian stars Machel Montano and Destra. She announced the collaboration on her Instagram page.

The rapper ranked No. 10 on Billboard’s Top 50 Greatest Rappers of All Time, reps her Trini roots on the surprise track drop.

“Trinidad my country, the greatest carnival of all time,” I’m reppin’ that red, that white, that black / I’m reppin’ my real flag.”

Minaj has been absent from social media, most likely working on her highly-anticipated 5th studio album, the follow-up to 2018’s Queen.
