Caribbean Airlines Has Restyled Its In-flight Uniforms

According to a social media post by the national airline the new uniforms were designed by its team members: flight attendants Richard Martin, Giselle Rodney, and Liala Pearl-Bennet; and reservation agents Tonia Gomes, and Rebecca Bernard.

“With true Caribbean essence, our uniforms were crafted to stand out and to make a statement about what it means to be Caribbean–both as a people and as an airline. They will be worn with pride and the textures create a signature look and modern design with both style and function,” the social media post stated.

“The varying colour combinations represent the Caribbean Airlines brand identity. The steel grey celebrates the strength and resilience of the Caribbean; magenta represents the creativity of our people and pink expresses our passion,” it stated.

The new cabin crew and staff uniforms were revealed on Thursday as Caribbean Airlines hosted a customer appreciation event at the Hyatt Regency Trinidad.

“The fresh, contemporary uniforms designed by the employees, and produced by Janouras Custom Design Ltd embody the airline’s commitment to evolving with the times while staying rooted in Caribbean flair,” a release from the airline stated.

Delivering remarks Finance Minister Colm Imbert commended the airline for its “resilience and steadfastness”, and emphasised its role in the region’s development, the release stated.

Chairman of Caribbean Airlines S Ronnie Mohammed also reaffirmed the airlines’ “unwavering commitment to excellence”, it stated.

Caribbean Airlines’ chief executive office Garvin Medera, said: “Our brand is not just about flying; it’s a celebration of Caribbean culture, festivals, sports, and music–a true reflection of our vibrant region.”

He announced the expansion of the Jetpak courier service to Guyana, Barbados, and Jamaica, and its intended route expansion pending regulatory approvals, strengthening the airline’s commitment to regional connectivity.

“To our loyal customers and dedicated employees, thank you for your unwavering commitment. As we look ahead to 2024, we remain focused on enhancing your journey and providing the exceptional service you deserve.”

Entertainment for the evening was provided by soca artiste Mical Teja (Mical Teja Williams), who customised his hit song “DNA” to incorporate the airline’s Welcome Home theme.
