Nessa Preppy (Vanessa John) can definitely be classified as a SoDa (Soca and Dancehall) artiste of outstanding repute, who released her “Little Miss Arima” album late in 2024. Featuring 13 songs, Nessy made sure to include a batch of Soca selections designed to spice up Carnival 2025. Nessa told XVibes that she’s “very interested in seeing how these songs continue to grow over the period leading up to Carnival”. Of course, she’s focused on executing legendary performances and entertaining her fans and fete patrons at every appearance.
Our friends at CCN affiliates HOTT 93.5 fm and RED 96.7 FM tell us that Preppy’s songs have been doing pretty well thus far and the DJs and fans alike are enjoying them. The Rude Boy ambassador thanked everyone who has been supporting her along her journey and who have supported her album project, which has been making waves and gaining momentum on digital streaming platforms.

Nessa also thanked her fans, and those in the industry, including: all the DJs, promoters and of course, her sponsor “Rude Boy” who signed her as the ONLY female brand ambassador, alongside Yung Bredda (Akhenaton Lewis) and Jahllano (Llano Grant). Look out for more from Nessa Preppy coming soon to XVibes!
