From Buccoo Historical Park to Speyside Recreational Grounds, Tobago came alive with the sounds of a Hybrid jazz festival titled “Utopia Weekend” featuring soca, jazz, reggae and pan. Hosted by Opulence Promotions, under the direction of Erlan Clarke and in collaboration and support from the Tobago House of Assembly (THA).

Headlining the festival was Patrice Roberts along with acts such as Freetown Collective, Annalie Prime, Adana Roberts, Isasha and Jah Melody along with Jamaican reggae ambassador Junior Kelly and Baby Cham to name a few.

Tobago’s own Adana Roberts mesmerised the crowd during her performance at the Sunday night edition of the Utopia Jazz Weekend, at the Buccoo Historical Park.

The A Team band also paid a tribute to late soca artiste Blaxx (Dexter Stewart) who the music fraternity lost earlier this year. The event did not only feature music, but a fusion highlighting food vendors from Tobago with their culinary foods, art, craft and fashion.

THA Chief Secretary Farley Augustine was also in attendance, to witness the splendour of the event. Ashworth Jack, former minority leader and other THA Secretaries also attended the event.
