Shasha Designs presented Moonlight Stories, Guyana’s first gala and runway show, at the Pegasus Hotel, Guyana, on May 21.
The show featured Shasha Designs, led by creative director Keisha Edwards, along with other designers, including Rio De Roberto, House of Pearson, Bucked Bead, Francois Designs and Maxi K Williams.
Edwards, of Georgetown, Guyana, is a graduate of the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) Caribbean Academy of Fashion and Design. She is known best for her event wear and her traditional and unconventional gowns.
Shasha Designs collection has been seen by fashion lovers in Haiti, Curacao, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Washington, and Buckingham Palace during London Fashion Week.
