The opening night gala of ANANSI & THE INFINITE JOUVAY- an exhibition of paintings, prints, postcards, and a doll by Multi-Media Artist Rubadiri Victor(and introducing the fantastic fantasist digital paintings of Randall Wattley) will be held on on Weds 22nd January at LOFTT Art Gallery, Rosalino Street, Woodbrook, Port of Spain at 7pm.
The event is also a book and band launch.
The event marks the launch of the 3rd novel in the best-selling ‘New Adventures of Anansi’ series by Victor- ‘ANANSI IN THE LAND OF MONSTERS & OTHER STORIES’- and it will be accompanied by a series of works derived from that expansive mythology.
The event also is the launch of the Jouvay band INFINITE JOUVAY formed by the joining of Generation Lion Jouvay, Monstaz Jouvert, and Secrets Mas Band.
