The stage is set for Pass The Mic – a showcase of past winners of the First Citizens National Poetry Slam over the years on Sunday 6 July at Queen’s Hall.

Attendees can expect bars, boldness and brilliance as Rawkus Productions, with the support of the Bocas Lit Fest brings together past winners of the First Citizens National Poetry Slam for an explosive evening of wordplay, rhythm and magic.

There will also be a special acoustic performance by the Freetown Collective to sweeten the vibe.  

The organisers have praised the Slam’s title sponsor First Citizens for “recognising and backing the artform through the National Poetry Slam and helping build a space where voices rise and stories thrive.”

Pull up, catch the heat and the harmony, and feel the power when the mic gets passed this Sunday at Queen’s Hall, Port of Spain. 

Doors open 6 pm, Showtime 6.30 pm

Tickets are $200 and can be bought at Paper Based Bookshop at @paperbasedbookshop and Island Tickets .
