Do you remember the days of the “Whoa Donkey back in the 90’s when Ronnie McIntosh and Massive Chandelier had women elevating to men’s shoulders in fetes?

Well, with the emergence of Power Soca for 2023 and the call for patrons to really fete hard and not be ‘stush’. After all, this year’s carnival is ranked as “The Mother of All Carnivals”. Bass aka Trilo G formerly known as Third Bass is bringing back those days with his latest contribution to a song called “RIDE”.

The song started at his home studio but was originally called “Right Down”. Using one of the bid catchphrases for 2023 “Right down till we lie down”. Bass upon realizing that there were so many renditions with that same concept quickly dug deep into his archives. He watched videos on YouTube to see what difference he could bring to the table. So as soon as he pulled up the donkey dance he put a 2023 pen to paper and the rest is history.

The track was co-produced mixed and mastered by Maha Productions who gave it the new school feel yet kept the essence of the vibe from back in the day.

Bass is one of the first radio deejays to become an artist. He is still on the radio today at Vibe CT105. He has a number of hits under his belt including classics like “Jouvert Morning”, “Make me feel high”, “Bum Bum (stush in the bush)” and others. Refusing to let the lack of airplay from certain radio stations keep the track back, he can be seen heavily promoting the track on the ground and at parties. It is already a crowd favourite as he takes it one on one to the people along with a special friend on his shoulders.

Bass is also heavily working on his social media platforms on Instagram@Basstnt3000 and tiktok@Basstnttiktok.
