The Centre of Excellence in Macoya was set ablaze with a breathtaking kaleidoscope of culture, fashion, and melody on Saturday, June 6, 2026, for the 38th annual Rang Ka Utsav. Organized by the Hindi Foundation of Trinidad & Tobago Inc., this spectacular “Celebration of Colours” lived up to its name, transforming the Bougainvillea Hall into a vibrant epicenter of premium Caribbean entertainment. High society and culture enthusiasts gathered for an unforgettable night of philanthropy and premium gourmet dining, with every ticket contributing directly to supporting the nation’s local heritage educators.

The undisputed crown jewel of the evening was a magnificent runway showcase produced by the legendary Richard Young, which pushed the boundaries of style by seamlessly blending traditional heritage with contemporary high fashion. Breathtaking collections from premier designers swept the stage, but it was the standout models and captivating fashion from Knot Couture that completely stole the night, mesmerizing the audience with their intricate, structure-meets-flow artistry. Accompanying the visual feast from Knot Couture and fellow design powerhouse labels like Zadd & Eastman and Neha Karina were live performances by steelpan virtuoso Johann Chuckaree and vocalist Neval Chatelal—proving once again that Rang Ka Utsav remains the ultimate, unmissable highlight of the local cultural calendar.
