On Sunday June 14, the Central Bank Auditorium comes alive for a heartfelt evening of music, theatre and inspiration as talented young performer Anya Bidaisee hosts her highly anticipated fundraiser concert, “One Stage Away.” The production marks a defining moment in Bidaisee’s journey after recently being accepted into her dream performing arts school in New York City, where she will pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Musical Theatre. Designed as both a celebration and a fundraiser, the concert represents the next major step in turning her lifelong passion into an international career.

Deeply personal in meaning, “One Stage Away” reflects Bidaisee’s belief that everyone is only one opportunity away from becoming who they are meant to be. The show will feature an exciting lineup of young performers including Alyssa Joseph, Jake Salloum, Juss Lizz, Jaydelle Baird, John Thomas, Phillip Cartar, Keoni Greaves, Afycha Samuel and Daniel Garavito, all backed by live accompaniment from the accomplished Eunmi Choi. Together, the cast promises an evening packed with emotion, vocal excellence and dynamic stage performances.

As anticipation builds for the June 14 showcase, supporters are being encouraged to attend, share and rally behind one of Trinidad and Tobago’s promising young creative talents as she prepares to take her dreams onto an international stage. More than just a concert, “One Stage Away” stands as a celebration of ambition, perseverance and the power of community support — proving that sometimes the distance between a dream and reality is just one stage away.
