Priscilla Gueverra: This labour of love for pan is not for the faint of heart and requires stamina and strong immune systems to combat against the dust, heat and tension of that comes with the fierce musical competition of the bands. That’s why XVibes did a scan of the fitness landscape to find a good few workouts and trainers capable of boosting the energy, vitality and stamina of our Carnival enthusiasts. Welcome to the Greatest Show on Earth!

  1. My Classes are every Mondays and Wednesdays from 6pm – 7pm At Evolution Fitness Gym, Rodney Road Chaguanas
Soca Burnout is about creating a Fete environment through fitness form, you don’t only burn calories through aerobic/cardiovascular movements, but, the soca culture blended with dance and body pump exercises, is the prime factor of the program.
  2. I believe participants should enjoy the process to achieve their fitness goals. You can visit the gym 4-5 times per week and still be frustrated or just not feel at your best “mentally”. Mental well-being promotes physical well-being; and I am a huge advocate for that.
And trust me, my class will have you sweating, winin, waving, palancing, toning and conditioning and just having a time.

My class creates a safe space where participants always leave feeling in a better mood than they came in, and they always come back wanting more.

  1. Since last year I must say, on average 20-30 persons, I have helped in a big way through my soca fitness classes. These ladies first started my class being very shy and just insecure about how they look, how they “wine” etc and now, to just see how much they have transformed into confident self-less women, really reminds me of my true purpose as an instructor. My female clients are wearing short pants to my classes now, lol. They are having so much fun and are very consistent too.
So, I am very happy to have contributed to boosting their level of confidence, encouraging them to just love themselves, be patient with their fitness journey, and of course, improve their winin skills.
